Current Ministry Projects

  • Lenten Prayer and Giving discipline to benefit Feeding Empty Little Tummies (F.E.L.T.) Our Lenten Calendar gifts will be forwarded to F.E.L.T. to help them feed the thousands of Manatee County’s homeless students who go hungry each weekend. Through its backpack program, F.E.L.T. provides nutritious meals in backpacks for the children in 32 area schools to take with them as they leave for the weekend.  Each child in the program is qualified by Project Heart.    For more information: http://feltinc.org/ .     Bless your generosity!

  • Serving the Hot Meal at Our Daily Bread in 2024: We arrive to help set up at 9am and then serve the meal until 11:30am. Our remaining scheduled dates for 2024 are: March 14th, March 16th, April 11th, May 9th, May 18th, June 13th, July 11th, July 20th, August 8th, September 12th, September 21st, October 10th, November 14th, November 16th, December 12th.

  • Quilting and knitting. Our TLCQ’s gather at 1pm on Mondays from October-May to make beautiful quilts and lap robes o distribute at least twice each year to organizations serving folks whose lives need warmth and the knowledge that there are those who care about them. The group also makes lots of knit caps for seafarers served by Anchor House at Port Manatee.

  • Trinity is a member of S.T.R.E.A.M. - Manatee County’s Justice Ministry. STREAM (Stronger Together Reaching Equality Across Manatee) is a nonpartisan, grassroots organizing group uniting faith communities to answer the call to seek justice and solve critical community problems. The NEW key issue to be addressed in 2024 is MENTAL HEALTH. Nehemiah Action, Monday, April 29th, 6:30pm, is the biggest annual event of S.T.R.E.A.M.   • Assisting early elementary students at Prine Elementary who are struggling in school. Our volunteers walk alongside students who are struggling - providing one-on-one assistance. Each school year, Trinity folks go to Prine, one time each week, to help a student. This program, developed by Trinity and Prine Principal Greg Sander, helps students who need assistance. For more information or volunteer for the team, please contact the church office.

Annual Projects - Check calendar for dates & times

  • Our Daily Bread: We serve the hot meal monthly on select Thursdays and Saturdays of each month. We collect clothing and non-perishable foods weekly to benefit underserved and homeless individuals and families. The last full weekend of each month we collect a "Noisy Offering" to help ODB provide meals and to stock their pantry for their clients.

  • Annually provide Thanksgiving Baskets to provide a traditional meal for families who might not otherwise be able to celebrate. Our partners are: Big Brothers Big Sisters, Parenting Matters, and Pace Center For Girls.

  • Annual Diaper Drive for Healthy Start - whenever the organization advises they have special need. 

  • Christmas Angel Tree for families in Manatee County who are served by our ministry partner Parenting Matters. 

  • Annual Drives for Migrant Workers in our community to collect blankets, clothing and other supplies as we become aware of a need. 

  • Various drives, when needed, to provide clothing and supplies to: PACE Center for Girls, Prine Elementary, and other 501 (c)(3) organizations.
