Annual Projects- Serve the Hot Meal at Our Daily Bread monthly on select Thursdays and Saturdays, including the 5th Thursday of any month.
- Collect a "Noisy Offering" to benefit Our Daily Bread - to help them provide meals and stock their pantry for their clients. The last weekend of every month we love hearing coins fill loaf pans, and also, the rustle of paper offerings too!
- Annually provide Thanksgiving Baskets to provide a traditional meal for families who might not otherwise be able to celebrate. Our partners in this annual project are Big Brothers Big Sisters, Parenting Matters, and Pace Center For Girls. In 2022 we are also supporting the hurricane devastated El Jobean community.
- Annual Diaper Drive for Healthy Start whenever the organization advises they have special need.
- Christmas Angel Tree for families in our community served by our ministry partner Parenting Matters.
National and Global Ministry
Our responsibilites to be good stewards of that which we are provided includes on-going support of several organizations as well as immediate response in times of crisis. We strive to raise awareness of the needs outside our community and the ways we can come together as a church family, or as individuals and families, to help and support those whose lives are challenged by lack of food, clean water, shelter, educational opportunities, and/or many other advantages we enjoy.
- Evangelical Lutheran Church in Haiti
- Lutheran Disaster Response
- Lutheran World Relief
- Good Gifts, including The Global Barnyard
- World Hunger
We believe it is our obligation and privilege to serve – minister – to people wherever there is need, whether locally, nationally or globally. To assure our ability to provide assistance, Trinity has established a Mission Endowed Fund to produce income to help us share God's love in various ministries and to address special needs inside or out of our faith community. For more information about the fund: MEF Brochure and MEF Resolution to establish. Gifts to the Fund may be made through regular offering or eGiving.
