Worship

Gathering together to build and strengthen our relationship with God and each other is a cornerstone of our beliefs. We offer several opportunities and styles of worship for everyone to join together with our faith community. Holy Communion is available at very worship time.  ALL are invited to attend and participate. Children are welcome at the Table to receive the Sacrament or blessing, as parents indicate.

Our weekly schedule is:

Saturdays
5:30 pm Celebration Worship

Sundays
8:00 am Traditional  Worship
9:00 am  Celebration Worship
11:00 am Traditional Worship

Beach Worship
Once each month we gather just south of the Manatee Public Beach at the end of Manatee Avenue for worship with Eucharist. The time of that worship changes so that we conclude our service so we may watch God’s beautiful sunset together. Everyone is welcome to join us in this celebration!

We post the date and time on this page each month.

Special Worship and Blessing Services
We gather to celebrate or observe at other times during the year. Come back to this page often to see when something special is being prepared for us to praise our God and Savior.

Additional worship opportunities throughout the year include:
  • Advent
  • Christmas
  • Lent
  • Holy Week
  • Easter Sonrise
  • Blessing of the Animals

Summer Worship: Tuesdays, 7pm
How 2 = 10: Jesus and the Ten Words

We are exploring Jesus' teachings around God's commandments, the role of these "Ten Words" in our lives, and how they help us live our lives each day.

This celebration-style worship is brief and includes Holy Communion.

The Ten Words.

These messages from Pastor Bobbie and Pastor Doug describe how we might live out God's commands in our lives each day: (click on the link to read each)
June 10th - First Commandment
June 17th - Fourth Commandment (moved up for Father's Day)
June 24th - Second Commandment

Beach Worship resumes Sunday, September 16th at 7:30pm

Plan to join us. Bring family and friends!  We gather just a few steps south of Manatee Public Beach at the end of Manatee Avenue. Bring beach chairs.
