Ministries

We believe it is our obligation and privilege to serve – minister – to people wherever there is need, whether locally, nationally or globally.

Ministry Teams

Established to focus on a variety of specific areas on an on-going basis, our Ministry Teams coordinate and run these programs at Trinity:

  • Quilters and Sewers
  • Teddy Bear Program
  • Zumba – FREE – Thursdays at 6

Community Ministry

We partner with local organizations to provide time and/or resources, and we encourage everyone in our community to be of service as they are able to give of their time, talent and resources. Trinity family, especially our Community Ministry Coordinating Team, identify and liaison our ministry with organizations including:

Current Projects

We serve the Hot Meal at Our Daily Bread on select Saturdays and on the 5th Thursday of any month. Please watch our calendar for the dates. Contact the Church office if you wish to take part.

Annual Thanksgiving Luncheon for PACE:  We look forward to hosting this special luncheon for the PACE students, their families, and the faculty and Board of PACE.  For several years now we have served and enjoyed fellowship as we celebrate all that we have for which to be thankful. It is a privilege to serve in this way.

The Christmas Angel Tree is another annual service project that we delight in doing for families in our community. Last year we partnered with Family Partnership to make the holidays special for the families they serve. Family Partnership strives to improve the quality of life for families in Manatee County through parenting education, support and mentoring services. We also work with Family Partnership by providing Thanksgiving baskets for their families.

National and Global Ministry

Our responsibilites to be good stewards of that which we are provided includes on-going support of several organizations as well as immediate response in times of crisis. We strive to raise awareness of the needs outside our community and the ways we can come together as a church family, or as individuals and families, to help and support those whose lives are challenged by lack of food, clean water, shelter, educational opportunities, and/or many other advantages we enjoy.
